I had that epiphany a little while ago and, while I’ve not made any major changes to my life yet, just the knowledge of that distinction is making me look at life and make decisions through a very different lens.

The way that I've been thinking about Guy New York is that it was a project during which a lot was accomplished, and which has now come to an end. I think you can be proud of the body of work that was built and the people who were influenced by it.
I think there is something to be said about remembering that we are allowed to partake in a hobby or passion purely because it is something that brings us joy or pleasure, regardless of how big or small, and that we do not need to monetize EVERYTHING in our lives (even if it would be nice to be able to keep a roof on our plates and food over our heads by doing so).
I hope you keep writing your amazing erotica and that it continues to bring you joy and fill your cup, even if it may not be as often as some of us (yourself included) may like.
